BE PART OF “GOD’S WORK. OUR HANDS.” SUNDAY in 2017!
On September 10, 2017, ELCA congregations across the country will observe “God’s work. Our hands.” Sunday, as an opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
“God’s work. Our hands.” Sunday has become a tradition for First Lutheran members and friends in recent years. Past service opportunities have included leading hymn sings at Heritage Harbor, cleaning up LeTort park and trail, playing games and making crafts with residents of Cumberland Crossings, packing school kits for Lutheran World Relief, and cleaning/refreshing our nursery rooms.
Information about this year’s projects will be available in August – join us for this special day of witness and service to our community!
